Asso. Prof. Iniobong Ekong Nkang is an articulate scholar of Curriculum Studies, Educational Management and Planning Education who started her career at College of Education, Afaha Nsit and later transfered to University of Uyo, Uyo where she lectures till date. She holds a Ph.D and M.Ed in Educational Planning from University of Calabar.

As an experienced Educational Developer with several awards, she teaches and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students with a depth of insight.

While at the College, she served in several committees. such the Dean - School of Education , Editor-in-Chief, Interdisciplinary Journal of Education, College of Education etc. At the University she is serving as Member, Departmental Academic Board etc.

She holds active membership in several professional bodies such as Educational Research Network for West, Central African (ERNWACA), National Association for Research development (NARD) etc.

Dr. Nkang has done extensive research in Educational Administration & Planning. It has brought forth 46 Journal Articles, 6 Books, 7 Book Chapters and several Conference Paper presentations. Majority of her publications are open access on this knowledgebase.
